We’re excited to welcome Clair Littlefair to the NWTRPA team!
Clair was born and raised in Sǫ̀mba K’e/Yellowknife. After graduation from Sir Joh Franklin High school, she attended Okanagan College. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Clair is eager to put her experience to good use here at the NWTRPA as our Professional Development Coordinator.
Clair grew up participating in many sports but fell in love with cross-country skiing. Clair has since competed at multiple Arctic Winter Games and Canada Winter Games for Team NWT and is a volunteer coach in her spare time. During the summer months, Clair stays busy by going for bike rides, running, and sailing with her friends.
Since returning to the north, Clair is looking forward to her new position with the NWTRPA as Professional Development Coordinator and using her wealth of knowledge from coaching, paired with her passion for sports and the outdoors. Clair will be our new go-to for coordinating training sessions, assisting at our Annual Conference, promoting jobs in recreation & all things supporting professional development!
