We're hiring for TWO positions at the NWTRPA!

The NWT Recreation and Parks Association is looking for two new faces to join our small but mighty team for two different positions: Professional Development Coordinator and Membership & Communications Coordinator.


About the NWTRPA

The NWTRPA is a non-profit organization that promotes recreation by supporting leaders, communities, and partners through training, advocacy, and networking. We envision a territory where everyone has the access to recreation programs and spaces that foster healthy families, strong cultures, and vibrant communities.


Professional Development Coordinator

The Professional Development Coordinator will provide advice and support to the Director of Professional Development, and other staff members as required. The NWTRPA is a small territorial non-profit organization. The staff work collaboratively and provide assistance to each other as and when needed.




Membership & Communications Coordinator

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Membership & Communications Coordinator is responsible for the execution of both the NWTRPA strategic membership plan and the NWTRPA communications plan.


The incumbent is responsible for managing an annual budget (estimated to be approximately $40,000 in 2019-2020). The Membership & Communications Coordinator will support the Executive Director and other staff members. The NWTRPA is a small territorial non-profit organization. The staff work collaboratively and provide assistance to other staff members as and when needed.


The activities of this position impact program and organization procedures. The position impacts the allocation of communications and member services funding.
