Walk to Tuk Registration Now Open!

ree

Walk to Tuk is back for edition 16! Now is the time to gather your friends, family, co-workers, fellow students and long lost acquaintances to form a team and start to walk!

Don’t delay. Walk to Tuk starts January 1, 2026.

What is Walk to Tuk?

Glad you asked! Walk to Tuk is where people from all over the NWT (and around the world) form teams and together conceptually walk the distance of the Big River from Zhatıé Kų́ę́ / Fort Providence  to Tuktuuyaqtuuq/Tuktoyaktuk. That means walk as often as you can during January and February!

How do I Participate?

Have you participated before?

Feel as though last year was a breeze and want more of a challenge? For all those overachievers out there, you can Walk to Tuk… and back! That’s a total of 3,316km. Can your team make it to Tuk and back?
