About the Event
Wilderness First Aid is comprehensive 40 hour medical training designed for remote professionals or wilderness leaders who venture on the land. This course teaches how to manage medical emergencies when hospitals and rescue services may not be available for an extensive time period. We prepare students for emergency situations that involve prolonged patient care, and improvised equipment on the land.
Training is suitable for those who take people out on the land, including program leaders and guides. Part of the course is taught outside.
This course will be taught by Blyth & Bathe.
