The NWT Recreation and Parks Association and Western Arctic Moving Pictures are joining forces to host the Paddling Film Festival in Sǫ̀mba K’è/Yellowknife.

Rapid Media's Paddling Film Festival showcases the world's best paddling films to audiences in Canada, United States and around the world. The festival inspires more people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the lifestyle and appreciate the heritage of the wild places we paddle.  

Tickets are $20 per person, but due to social distancing policies we are selling entire tables by groups of 2, 4 and 6. Proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Connections and Northern Youth Leadership to get youth out on the land!

Doors open at 7pm and the screening begins at 8pm  

Please note: all attendees are expected to bring a mask, personal hand sanitizer, and a signed NWTRPA waiver (will be provided via email). If the event is cancelled due to a COVID-19 outbreak in our community, the event will become virtual.
