About the job

The City of Yellowknife is currently seeking qualified individuals to work part-time casual hours as Pool Assistants, Cashiers, Lifeguards and Swim Instructors with the Community Services Department.

Under the direction of the Pool Supervisor, our Pool Staff provide constant safety supervision, assist with special events, and complete necessary administrative work associated with programs, accidents, incidents and cleaning.

The successful incumbents must possess the following:

Pool Assistants must have:

Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross

Instructors must have:

Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross

Lifeguards must have:

National Lifeguard Service

All Positions require current First Aid Award/CPR Basic Rescuer
