Looking for a way to fight off the creeping winter blues? Want to stay active during the long winter months?

Just want to do something fun and social with friends and win prizes at the same time?

Whatever your reason, sign up now for Walk to Tuk!

Don’t delay. Walk to Tuk starts January 2, 2018. Registration closes January 15, 2018.

What is Walk to Tuk?

Glad you asked! Walk to Tuk is where people from all over the NWT form teams and together conceptually walk the distance of the Big River (Mackenzie) from Fort Providence to Tuktoyaktuk. That means that you try to walk as often as you can during January and February!

How do I Participate?

  • Each time you head out for a winter stroll you track the time you spend walking and add it to your team’s total.
  • As your total adds up you can follow your team’s progress along the River on our website with our handy Walk to Tuk map.
  • If you walk enough between January 2 and February 28, 2018 then you’ve made it to Tuk (1658km)!

Have you participated before?

Feel as though last year was a breeze and want more of a challenge. For all of those overachievers out there you can Walk to Tuk… and Back! That’s a total 3316 km. Can your team make it to Tuk and back?
