Thank You Team Captains!

Walk to Tuk 2017 has been the most successful yet, with 29 communities, 257 participating teams and a grand total of 659,708 km walked. It goes without saying that all this success could not have been possible without the work of team captains.

Each Walk to Tuk team has a captain who is responsible for registering the team, tracking and submitting the team’s total walking times online, liaising with the NWTRPA on behalf of the team, and motivating and encouraging team members. Some team captains even set up group walks, take team photos, and have small competitions within their team.

This volunteer work done by team captains is one of the key component to the success of Walk to Tuk. We would like to send a big THANK YOU to all team captains for their time, support and promotion of Walk to Tuk! It could not take place without you!

Was your team captain awesome? We’d love to hear about them.  Share your Walk to Tuk team captain comments with us on social media by tagging @nwtrpa in your post.
