First School Faculty to Sign Up!
We have our first school faculty team signed up for Walk to Tuk 2019 and it’s from a University! Wilfrid Laurier University has signed up for a second year in a row! Here’s why they decided to participate again this year.
“Laurier decided to participate in the Walk to Tuk again this year because all of our team members had so much fun last year tracking our progress and working toward a common goal! Because we have an office in Yellowknife, away from the main campus in Waterloo, Ontario, it’s easy to feel a bit disconnected from our Yellowknife team. The 2018 Walk to Tuk really brought people together from all levels of Laurier. We had students, professors, technical staff, and even the Vice President of Research on our team. On top of all that, this is a fantastic challenge that really motivates people to get active in the winter!”
Need some more motivating? Check out our 17 GREAT REASONS TO PARTICIPATE IN WALK TO TUK post.
Or, are you a NWT student going to University? Why not start a school team and stay connected to the North!
Whatever your reason, sign up now for Walk to Tuk!
Walk to Tuk starts January 2, 2019.
