Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) is a one-day training that will help front-line leaders 

(anyone working with children aged 6 to 12 – i.e. camp counsellor, coaches, swim instructors, etc.) enhance the quality of the programs they are delivering and understand what they need to do to ensure each child’s social, emotional and cognitive needs are met (Jan 23, 2019).

Strengthening Children’s Mental Health (SCMH) is a one-day in-person training that will help anyone running children’s programs be more informed and prepared to support their staff in promoting positive mental health in children. Learn key concepts and factors that affect children’s mental health including the impact of stress and environment on a child’s ability to cope (Jan 24, 2019).

Dates: January 23 and 24, 2019

Time: 9 AM – 4 PM
