Everybody gets to play™
Everybody gets to play™ is a national initiative advanced by the CPRA to enhance the quality of life for low-income families and their children by removing barriers to play.
Through the Everybody gets to play™ initiative, the CPRA is creating awareness of the issue and providing the tools to help mobilize communities to provide recreation without barriers for kids without means.
A consultation workshop hosted by the NWTRPA and CPRA in Yellowknife provided feedback on the Community Mobilization Toolkit. As a result of that workshop, several recommendations were made on how to best advance the program in the North.
The NWTRPA in partnership with Recreation and Parks Association of Yukon and the CPRA are developing a workplan to launch Everybody gets to play™ in the North.
