Welcome to the NWTRPA, Stefanie Miklosovic!
The NWTRPA is excited to welcome a new member to our team. Stefanie Miklosovic assumes the role of the NWTRPA’s new Membership and Communications Manager.
Stefanie was born and raised in Yellowknife. She loves being outside and is always up for an outdoor adventure, whether it’s around her hometown or on her travels.
Over the past few years, Stefanie has been travelling, studying, and working with the GNWT. She has worked with the Aboriginal Wellness Program at Stanton Territorial Hospital, and with the Health and Social Services’ Public Health Registries unit. While she is new to the NWTRPA, she is not new to the recreation field as she held an internship with MACA’s Sport, Recreation and Youth division.
When Stefanie isn’t hiking, she is usually by the water or out for a walk with family, friends, and any dogs that want to come along. She will find any excuse to get out in the fresh air and is always looking for a new trail to trek wherever she goes. As much as Stefanie loves exploring new places, and national parks, she is always happy to take in the midnight sun and northern lights here at home.
Stefanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and graduate coursework in Global Health Policy. She is excited to begin in her new role as the Membership and Communications Manager at the NWTRPA.
