Swim-to-Survive® Grant Application – Coming Soon! The Swim-to Survive® NWT Family Grant allows organizations working with families (i.e. schools, foster groups, youth tournaments, etc) to apply for $850 to organize and host a free Swim-to-Survive® family event at one of the Regional Aquatic Training Centres (RATC) in the territory. The application will be available next Thursday, November 10.

The Framework for Recreation in Canada 2015 SurveyReleased February 2015, the Framework for Recreation in Canada 2015 provides a new vision for recreation and suggests ways to enhance recreation delivery in Canada. As part of the monitoring, a working group has created this short survey. The results of the survey will help the steering committee assess the level of awareness for the Framework as well as barriers to implementation and opportunities to utilize the framework.

Physical Activity Framework Survey

Federal, provincial, and territorial governments want to hear from parents, professionals, businesses, NGOs, and other Canadians, as they embark on a process to develop a physical activity framework. The deadline to give your feedback is Friday, November 11, 2016.
